MyNetFone products and services should function over the majority of internet connections available in Australia, including DSL, cable and wireless.You should consider a minimum 512/128kbps connection for optimum performance.
If you plan on purchasing some equipment from MyNetFone and intend to connect it to existing equipment given to you by your ISP, you need to ensure the following:
The existing equipment is a standard Ethernet based Modem, with a standard RJ-45 Jack (standard Ethernet cable)
You are using an Ethernet modem as all of the hardware based routers/analogue telephone adapters that MyNetFone sells are Ethernet based and will require at least an Ethernet Modem to function (e.g ADSL Modem/Router, cable Modem).
If you have any other type of Modem, such as USB based and mobile telephone handset, it is unlikely it will work. While it may be possible for you to utilise said equipment, the MyNetFone support team will not be able to convey any Support for your network setup in any of the above instances.
