While MyNetFone's VoIP service may be accessed via a satellite internet connection, for this to work satisfactorily careful engineering and testing is required. This is because of technical issues including latency, jitter, packet loss, quality of service and traffic prioritisation, compression techniques and bandwidth availability which may need to be overcome. It is therefore not as simple as plugging a VoIP adaptor device to the satellite connection and expecting it to work straight away.
If you do want MyNetFone VoIP service over satellite, check with your satellite service provider to see if they have tested their network with MyNetFone service. If not, it’s unlikely the service will work satisfactorily.
