Sydney Ranks Top 10 for Technology
Sydney has been ranked the 10th best city in the world for embracing technology and empowering entrepreneurs, beating the likes of Tokyo and New York. The study was commissioned by computer company Dell, using data from analytics company IHS. Cities were ranked by reviewing not only their current technological climate, but also their potential to sustain and promote innovation into the future. California’s San Jose (home to Silicon Valley) topped the list, followed by neighbouring city San Francisco, Singapore and London. Sydney was the only Australian city to make the top 50 list.
