MyNetFone delivers very strong growth and record full year results

As no doubt many of you are aware, MyNetFone is a public company who’s shares are traded on the Australia Stock Exchange (ASX:MNF).  Last week we had great pleasure of announcing our full year results for the twelve months ending 30th June 2012, which we'd also like to share with our loyal customers.

MyNetFone had a strong year, with highlights including:

  • Revenue increased 181% to $38.3 million (FY11: $13.6M)
  • EBIDTA increased 308% to $4.4 million (FY11: $1.1M)
  • NPAT up 205% to $3.1 million (FY11: $1.0M)
  • Earnings per share up 190% to 5.6 cents (FY11: 1.9 cents)
  • Dividend for the whole year up 176% to 2.3 cents per share fully franked
  • Strong balance sheet with no debt and cash balance of $6 million (FY11: $2.5M)

Business Outlook

The company will continue with its current strategy in FY13, with its main focus on expanding the Business and Enterprise segments, as well as growing the wholesale segments with our subsidiary Symbio Netowrks' VoIP Managed services and Wholesale carriage.

Our Virtual PBX and SIP Trunking services are getting a lot of interest from Business and Enterprise customers. This is especially true for those looking to make the most of their Microsoft Lync investment by connecting it with MyNetFone SIP Trunking, the only Australian SIP Trunking service officially certified to interoprate with Lync. In addition we are working on new offers and products to increase the service range for our customers.

The MyNetFone project with the Tasmanian Government for voice carriage is on track with infrastructure roll out underway. The project is expected to commence tolling by January 2013 and will ramp up over the following 12 to 18 months. This project has also stimulated a large amount of interest from other enterprise and government bodies which we will continue to address with our Enterprise SIP Trunk offering.

We are, of course, still focused on the residential market sector, which is undergoing transformation from a pure voice (VoIP) offering to a bundled voice and data offering. This will be further assisted by the upcoming National Broadband Network (NBN). It is expected the NBN will provide an increased opportunity to compete with the larger more established ISPs in the market, and thereby to further grow our residential customer numbers.

The company will continue to expand the Symbio Group’s carrier network with additional reach, products, services and capabilities. These projects are expected to solidify Symbio’s position as the largest VoIP carrier and hosted voice services provider in Australia; as well as provide additional income and operating margin for the next 3 years and beyond.

We hope you’ll agree that it’s been a successful year for MyNetFone, and we're now focusing on ensuring similar success in 2013 and beyond!
